Keep band-aid/pressure dressing in place for at least 1 hour.
In the unlikely event of bleeding at the infusion site, sit quietly and apply firm pressure to the area for 20 minutes. Seek medical attention if bleeding will not stop.
Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated after treatment for the next 48 hours.
Cold packs can be used for minor pain and swelling at the injection site. You can expect swelling to be resolved within 24-48 hours.
48 hours after IV infusion, apply warms packs to help with any minor bruising at the injection site. Bruising is common and may take 1-2 weeks to disappear.
Do not exercise for at least 2 hours following IV therapy.
Call your Service Provider as soon as possible if you experience any unusual side effects or signs and symptoms of skin infection after treatment. Infection can appear as hot, red, shiny skin or you may have a fever.
Seek emergency medical attention in the rare event that you experience a severe allergic reaction after treatment, which may include rash, facial swelling, and breathing difficulties.
